Iliad is an umbrella organization for applied mathematics research in AI alignment. We organize the eponymous ILIAD conference series along with other research conferences, incubate research organizations and an academic journal, and run an Intensive and a Fellowship program.

Coming Up: The August 2026 Iliad Intensive (August 10–28) is a special, accelerated 3-week taught introduction to technical AI alignment, with an emphasis on broad coverage of the field. It takes place at Lighthaven in Berkeley, immediately after the ILIAD 2026 conference. Applications are now open; apply here for this or other forthcoming programs.
