Join our ambassador program.

We cover housing and accommodation for people to come to Berkeley/London for 1 month (or 3 months) to be taught by leading researchers.

We need help reaching out to more potential mathematically-focused AI alignment researchers. Our ambassadors help us do that.

As an ambassador, you would do outreach at conferences, university groups, and other places you think are a good fit.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • You do outreach about our AI alignment training programs! This includes flyering, postering, and other initiatives you take (e.g. asking if you can deliver a quick 5-minute pitch on what we do). We can cover your travel and accommodation for the conference if you’re going there as an ambassador.

  • Fill out the apply form! We’ll get back to you in two business days at most, but probably less.

  • Ambassadors get the benefits of our referral program! For every person you refer that successfully completes the Intensive and starts the Fellowship, you get $500 and $1500 respectively.

    Of course, reimbursements for conference travel+accommodation if applicable as well.

  • Our website has information about our mission and why we do what we do. In one sentence: Iliad is a nonprofit that is training people to effectively work on mathematical problems in AI alignment.

  • Yes! We will send materials with your custom referral code to you. You are also free to make your own.
