The Research Lead heads Iliad's AI alignment research team, setting research direction, managing and mentoring researchers, and maintaining a high bar for rigor and ambition.
Iliad is looking for an established research track record in foundational AI alignment, mathematics or a closely related field, alongside experience managing or mentoring researchers and the ability to communicate a coherent research agenda.
The role is remote and global, with frequent travel to events in the US and UK. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
